Minister of Communication, Science and Technology Mohamed Maleeh Jamal, on Tuesday, officially endorsed the Maldives Marine Expo, an exhibition annually hosted by the National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM).
Minister Maleeh signed and presented an endorsement certificate to NBAM Vice President Ismail Hameed at a ceremony held to mark the occasion.
Managing Director of Blak Pvt Ltd Ismail Husham presented a commemorative plaque to the Communications Ministry for their endorsement of the expo which Blak has organized as an event partner since 2014.
The 2019 installation of the fair, the fifth expo held since the event was first launched, will focus on the theme of marine technology.
The Maldives Marine Expo acts as a platform for featuring various state-of-the-art facilities related to the marine sector, machinery, tools, marine vessels including boats and launches, as well as prominent brands of diving and water sports.
Participants of the Maldives Marine Expo will receive a chance to create and improve relations with manufacturers, suppliers, and other service providers in the marine industry.
New technology and developments within the industry will be showcased at this year’s expo.
