A man has been arrested for vandalizing a Police Station located in Hulhumalè 2.
According to the police, the alleged threw a rock and shattered one of the glass panels of the station. A police officer, who was inside at the time, had been injured during the incident which occurred on Friday.
The officer had been admitted to the hospital for treatment, police said.
A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with the case. No further details were given regarding the incident.
Police said they are investigating the matter further.
