Fire incident in Thilafushi lagoon injures two

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), on Thursday, revealed that a Maldivian and an expatriate worker were injured during a fire incident which occurred in the lagoon of Thilafushi, Kaafu Atoll.

After the blaze was reported at approximately 1639 hrs, MNDF Fire and Rescue Service arrived on scene and had successfully brought the flames under control by around 1730 hrs.
