The President of Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan, departed on Friday, June 16, after concluding his six-day official visit to the Maldives.

Seychelles President and First Lady Linda Ramkalawan visited the Maldives on Sunday, last week.

During President Ramkalawan’s state visit, the countries also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on youth development cooperation. Under the agreement, Seychelles and the Maldives will work together to foster long-term collaboration in youth empowerment and skills development in both countries.

At the conclusion of President Ramkalawan’s state visit, the countries released a joint communique ensuring continued bilateral cooperation in other areas of mutual interest and benefit.
