Massive Earth Foundation has said that the application window to participate in the 'Low Carbon Earth' program which targets tech start-ups that manufacture and distribute sustainable products tailored to mitigate climate change impacts has been extended.
Massive Earth Foundation said that the application window to participate in the 'Low Carbon Earth' program which targets tech start-ups that manufacture and distribute sustainable products tailored to mitigate climate change impacts has been extended.
The program organized by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) together with Massive Earth Foundation is tailored for the Asia Pacific Region and is offered for start-ups that can address air purification, agri-foods, renewable energy production, digital innovation, plastic pollution and sustainable mobility.
Massive Earth Foundation explained that the program offers start-ups with assistance required in the beginning alongside support needed to expand their businesses. The program will further provide expertise, mentorship on building strategic connections alongside financial aid, said the Foundation, adding that it will also offer the chance to build relations with those in relevant fields. Online training workshops, virtual bootcamps, networking events and seminars, in addition to mentorship sessions will also be proceeded under the program.
The application window to join the program has now been extended. A bootcamp has also been scheduled for September 2 which will observe participation from selected companies, investors and industry experts and leaders.
Moreover, a chance to take part in the Demo Day Workshop held in Bangkok, Thailand on the second week of December will also be offered for participants.
The application window for joining the Low Earth Carbon program closes on August 27.
This year marks the 4th year of Massive Earth Foundation organizing this program with its first edition held in 2021. The program has by far observed participation from nearly 1,000 start-ups over the years.
