Villa College has opened admissions for September intake

Villa College has opened admissions into their September intake today.

The college has extended the application window for their September intakes from today until the the first of August. Application forms will be available from the college campus and college website which also accepts online applications.

Speaking at a press briefing held by the college today, Vice Rector of Villa College, Dr Ali Najeeb stated that the September intake includes programs of Villa college, programs from the UK University of the West of England as well as programs from Taylor's University. He had also highlighted that this intake offers National Certificate courses of the Maldives National Development Authority (MNDA) as well.

Dr Najeeb stated that the courses offered by Villa College and programs of other universities offered at the college are run at an international standard with practical experiences required for the courses also facilitated. He also noted that most courses offered by the college can also be taken online.

"Our college will have various facilities required for the courses. These facilities fit into international standards. And we make several efforts to ensure the education we provide is given at the highest quality," said the Vice Rector.

Speaking at the press conference, Director of Marketing and Communication at the College, Nizna Ali Didi stated that the college offers foundation level courses as well. She also shared that the classes of degree level courses are scheduled at night, after 18:00 hrs in consideration of their working students.

"As most of the students that join our courses are working students, degree programs will be carried out after 18:00 hrs to provide ease for them. And most classes of Masters courses will be during the weekend," said Nizna.

- Interior Architecture and Design

- Health Service Management

- Project Management

- Hospitality Management

- Mass Communications

- Culinary Arts

- Education Management and Research Studies

The college has introduced a new Masters courses on Accounting for this intake as well. Additionally, the college has also introduced their own course for Certificate 3 in Culinary Arts as well as National Certificate level 3 and 4 courses for the first time as well.
