Maziya Sports and Recreation Club on Monday, lifted the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League Sheild, following a 2-1 defeat against Club Eagles.

Azizi becomes the third foreign athlete to win the keeper award. Previously the title was given to Club Eagle's Srilankan keeper Sujan Perera and former TC Sports Club Nepalese goalie Kiran Chemjong.
Coming at a close second-place finish was Club Eagles, scoring 45 points throughout the season. Eagles are the only team Maziya was unable to defeat this season.
