Renowned businessperson and Meedhoo MP Ahmed Siyam Mohamed has decided to offer free medical treatment to residents of Baa atoll Kamadhoo through his organization, Sun Siyam Care.
Kamadhoo Council President Hassan Zareer speaking with Mihaaru News, said that Sun Siyam Care has provided similar assistance to other islands in the Maldives.
"That was how we received this opportunity as well," Zareer said.
According to Zareer, the organization’s decision to assist Kamadhoo, which has a population of 564, is part of its broader initiative to support various communities across the country.
A statement released by Kamadhoo Council said that Sun Siyam Care will offer financial support for medical treatment, both within the Maldives and abroad, to the residents of Kamadhoo.
The statement further instructed residents seeking this assistance to submit the necessary forms and documents to the council office.
