Five-day remand to second suspect of Naeema’s murder

The Criminal Court of the Maldives has ordered a five-day remand for the second suspect who was arrested in connection with the brutal murder of Naeema Moosa, a resident of Manadhoo in Noonu Atoll.

Maldives Police Service has arrested two primary suspects, aged 20 and 23, in connection with the murder of Naeema. The 23-year-old suspect, who has already confessed to their involvement in the crime, was already held under a 14-day remand for their alleged involvement in a separate drug case.
