The second iteration of JLF Soneva Fushi has been launched by Teamwork Arts, the organization behind the annual Jaipur Literature Festival, and Soneva, a well-known resort operator. From May 12 to 21, 2023, the award-winning barefoot luxury resort will host the arts and literary festival on the sands of Kunfunadhoo in the breathtaking Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of the Maldives. The festival will present an amazing schedule of live performances of art, music, and literature over the period of 10 days and two weekends.
There will be signature events every weekend, such as keynote speeches, beachside gala dinners, live music performances, and movie screenings at the outdoor Cinema Paradiso. Delectable foreign cuisine will be available at the festival from a specially curated menu created by Soneva Fushi's award-winning chefs. The JLF Soneva Fushi will prioritize intimate sessions, author conversations, and a variety of fun workshops during the week. The festival's morning programs include dance workshops, guided snorkeling with Soneva Fushi's on-site Ocean Guardians, yoga and meditation sessions, and glassblowing at Soneva Art & Glass, the nation's first hot glass studio.
According to Sonu Shivdasani, CEO and Co-Founder of Soneva, "a truly personalized experience, JLF Soneva Fushi's outstanding curriculum provides an opportunity to reconnect with the pure love of reading and the arts."
The legendary Jaipur Literature Festival is produced by Teamwork Arts, whose managing director Sanjoy K. Roy said, "JLF Soneva Fushi is food for the mind, body, and spirit. An extraordinary assemblage of knowledge and experience from all over the world, held in the idyllic setting of Baa Atoll, with delectable food, stimulating conversations, and breathtaking views.”
