Homeless, cold and desperate
That world and ours we think is separate
Where millions are killed everyday
“Is there anyone out there that cares?” they wonder
Their lives torn apart by war
Bullets are flying in the sky
Yet again another will die
Blood splatters like rain
They are left wondering whether anyone is left who is still human
Tears fall as they cry in agony and hunger
Amidst a war there is no trust
Help stop these atrocities we must ,
Reach out and show that we care ;
No matter our nationality or religion
We are all human
