Maha Naseer, the Creative Culinary Director of Oaga Art Resort becomes the very first Maldivian to receive the prestigious "Master Chef" recognition by the World Master Chef Society.

The World Master Chef Society, the UK-based organization with over 200 members across 50 countries is hailed as one of the top-tier culinary societies in the world, with several of its members being Michelin star achievers.

Chefs who are awarded the internationally acclaimed title also receive the Culinary Order of Merit medal, which is a framed diploma in culinary excellence along with a personalized World Master Chefs Society jacket.

Maha, a culinary arts graduate from Singapore's Creative Culinare is also among the few female executive chefs of the Chefs Guild of Maldives, serving as the guild's Secretary General as well.

Apart from holding an executive role at the guild, Maha is also a World Chefs approved rookie judge in pastry.

Hailing her achievements and recognizing her talents, Oaga Art Resort notes that as the resort's Creative Culinary Director Maha will work towards elevating "the culinary journey with artistically experimental creations, fun innovations and a fusion of local culture."
