Sumuvvul Ameeru Abdul-Hannaan Haleem Dhoshimeynaa Kilegefaanu who served as the Public Safety Minister during former President Ibrahim Nasir's regime has passed away today.
He was receiving treatment at Tree Top Hospital, Hulhumalé at the time of his death.
He was the last living cabinet minister of President Nasir's time, and served from 1968 to 1978.
He was also a parliament member during the first parliament put together of the second presidency of the country.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu extended condolences to Abdul-Hannaan Haleem's family, following the news of his passing.
