Thailand-Maldives Business Forum Kicks Off

The ''Thailand-Maldives Business Matching'' forum, featuring numerous Thai exporters, has begun today in the Maldives.

Within two hours of the forum's opening, which includes 25 Thai companies, over 100 Maldivian companies had already visited. This forum, which is expected to create many business opportunities, will be conclude at 4 PM today.

The forum allows for strengthening connections with Thai businesses and identifying business opportunities available to the Maldives from Thailand. Exporters participating in the forum include those from the food and beverage, fruit and vegetable, furniture, cosmetics, and clothing sectors. Leading Thai exporters are also participating.

The Thailand Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), which organized this forum to expand Thailand's international market, stated that Maldivian entrepreneurs will gain new business ideas, learn about the latest Thai food trends, and receive information about the best products currently available in various industries.

DITP said this forum is an opportunity to further expand businesses in both countries. They noted that the forum has received an enthusiastic response from many Maldivian businesses, with more businesses visiting than expected.

During the forum, Maldivian entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with Thai entrepreneurs.

This forum is a joint initiative by DITP and the Thai Ministry of Commerce.
