Dhiraagu seeks applications for the post of Public Director

Dhiraaagu is seeking applications for the post of Public Director on its directors' board.

Applicants for the post are required to:

- hold a degree from an internationally recognized university

- be a current shareholder of Dhiraagu

- be able to read and understand financial statement and reports, or have accounting or related financial expertise, and have an understanding of the market as required by the Remuneration Nomination and Governance Committee

- Have a minimum of ten years experience serving in a senior capacity in private or public sector

- Have experience serving on other boards of directors

- Not hold board positions of more than 2 companies at the moment

- A minimum of 1 year has passed if the person has previously served on the board of a telecom regulator or competitor

- A minimum of 1 year has passed if the person has previously served on the Dhiraagu board of directors for a duration of more than six consecutive years

Interested individuals can find the application forms on the company's AGM web page, as well as obtain hard copies from their head office.

Applications must be send in by 16:00 hrs on March 3. Forms can be submitted at the company's head office or emailed to [email protected].

Applications will be evaluated by the RNG committee. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited for an interview. Upon board approval, RNG committee's advice will be announced in the general meeting's notice and be presented for voting in the upcoming annual general meeting.
