Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has recovered MVR 639 million in taxes and other unpaid fees that will go towards government revenue during the second quarter of the year.
According to MIRA's latest report, MVR 515 million was collected through repeated reminders and notices to pay overdue taxes over the past six months. MVR 93 million was recovered through debt clearance, MVR 21 million through freezing bank accounts, and MVR 12 million in overdue payments.
