A special session focusing on planting trees titled 'Grow with Ooredoo' has been held at the Senior Citizens' Centre.
Marking Senior Citizens' Day yesterday, the session was held by Ooredoo Maldives in collaboration with Ministry of Social and Family Development.
Participants at the session were gifted 'Grow with Ooredoo' gardening kits.
The session was led by Ooredoo Ambassador Ramzy Hussain, better known as 'Zuvaan Dhanduveriya' [Young Farmer].
The session covered tactics on nurturing home gardens in an easy, sustainable way.
Ooredoo also announced a Digital Partnership with the centre, aiming to increase connectivity amongst senior citizens. Through this partnership, Ooredoo's telecommunication and digital services will be provided at the centre.
The company also donated books to the centre.
This event falls under Ooredoo's campaign to increase senior citizens' participation in society.
