A media official from the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has confirmed the incident and further notified that the authority was working with the Maldives Police Service regarding the matter, although no further details were disclosed.
Mihaaru News has learned that the bullet was discovered from a woman at the airport scheduled to fly to Malé City on Friday afternoon, December 29.
Reports further indicate that the woman has been detained, although authorities have not provided further details.
