Police have today seized the phone and other electronic devices of social media activist Thayyib Shaheem in relation to an ongoing investigation regarding a forged police statement.
Police said that the devices were seized under a court order for the purposes of the investigation.
Thayyib's phone, laptop, hard drive, and five pen drives have been seized, Mihaaru News reports.
Thayyib's phone had previously been seized by the Police even during the administration of former President Abdulla Yameen.
