Kalaafaanu School emerged victorious in the Under-13 inter-school football tournament after defeating Ahmadiyya International School with a decisive 3-0 win. The match, which took place last night, saw Kalaafaanu take an early lead within seconds, courtesy of Eehan Ibrahim's goal. In the final minutes, captain Hussein Ilham Ibrahim and Mohamed Nashaam Niyaz added two more goals to secure the victory.
Kalaafaanu's success in the tournament was not limited to this final match. They dominated all their games, not conceding a single goal thanks to the exceptional goalkeeping skills of Mohamed Gidhaaf Ziyad. The team scored an impressive total of 32 goals throughout the tournament.
Hussein Ilham Ibrahim was honored as the tournament's best player, having showcased outstanding leadership and finishing as the top scorer. Coach Fareed Mohamed (Faritte) received the best coach award for his exceptional guidance. The fair play award went to Majeediyya School for their sportsmanship.
The tournament featured the participation of 36 schools, with Kalaafaanu School ultimately emerging as the champions.
