A 14-foot crocodile has been spotted in Maldivian waters.
The crocodile was found in the lagoon of Kaafu atoll Bolidhuffaru, which is being developed as a resort, on Friday morning.
The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said that the enormous crocodile was captured from the lagoon and released into the ocean 24 nautical miles away from the island.
Even though they are not native to the islands, crocodiles occasionally spotted in the Maldives. No one has ever been attacked by a crocodile in Maldivian waters.
