Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), on Monday, stated that a yacht docked at the lagoon of Kuda Villingili, Kaafu Atoll caught fire at approximately 0530 hrs.

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), on Monday, stated that a yacht docked at the lagoon of Kuda Villingili, Kaafu Atoll caught fire at approximately 0530 hrs.
According to MNDF, the Australian vessel 'Verita' sunk at 0900 hrs while fire and rescue services were working to extinguish the flames.
