A Spanish tourist has passed away in Thulusdhoo after being struck by a speedboat.
The incident occurred in Thulusdhoo in Kaafu atoll. The man was in the Maldives on vacation with his wife.
Reportedly, the speedboat ran over him while he was swimming along the Kuda Villingili channel. The man had suffered traumatic injuries, including losing an arm and having his legs and stomach lacerated gruesomely.
A native of the island was driving the speedboat.
