Renowned international tourism brands operate in the Maldives. However, all these resorts resorts are led by foreign nationals while Maldivians are rarely employed as GM of local brands operating in the Maldives.
Jumeirah Maldives was previously operated as Lux North Male' Atoll Resort. The resort was reopened by Jumeirah late last year.
