The Indian Ocean-based hospitality group Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts announced the launch of OZEN Reserve Vittaveli in the south of Kaafu Atoll, establishing their uber-luxe brand, The OZEN Collection.
The rebranding and launching of Vittaveli as OZEN Reserve Vittaveli, boasting a whole new concept, marks Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts' bold expansion of their OZEN brand.
Ozen's widely successful first property, OZEN Maadhoo, was established in 2016.
Salil Panigrahi, the Founder & Managing Director of Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, declared in a statement that they were honoured to be chosen to manage Vittaveli.
The island, locally known as 'Bolifushi', was previously operated by the Dubai-based hospitality brand Jumeirah.
“The addition of this resort to The OZEN Collection by Atmosphere will be a brand extension of our dreams into reality, offering rustic luxury blending with the Maldivian nature of sun, sand and swaying palms", he said.
"OZEN Reserve Vittaveli will be launched as a luxury lifestyle resort immersed in an exotic Indian Ocean hospitality".
According to the Chief Commercial Officer of Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, Stephane Laguette, the property will open its doors under its new name in October this year with an exciting new concept, which will be unveiled in time.
OZEN Reserve Vittaveli will offer guests "relaxed, ultra-luxe island living" with grand spaces, sun-kissed ocean fronts and gourmet dine-by-design experiences. The property assures absolute seclusion and privacy for guests at its 89 villas and suites, which come equipped with private a swimming pool and direct beach or lagoon access.
The resort also boasts the 'Royal Reserve', the jewel of the crown offering 3,500 square metres of luxury and elegant living. Guests can also enjoy private adventures on the 85-foot MY Vittaveli Yacht.
