Mustafa Mohamed won a Tesla model three in Dhiraagu’s Win a Tesla promotion which he now intends to sell.
The winner of local telecom operator Dhiraagu’s popular ‘Win a Tesla’ promotion Mustafa Mohamed has revealed that he will be selling the car for MVR 800,000.
The Thulusdhoo island native told local media outlet Mihaaru that he got multiple calls from potential buyers as soon as he was named the winner. The selling price was decided based on current market pricing, he said.
The 55 year old Customs officer who has been a dedicated Dhiraagu customer since the company first started its operations said he entered the promotion with no hope of actually winning the model 3 Tesla, which is the most expensive giveaway put up by Dhiraagu til date.
The car was handed over to Mustafa yesterday.
Dhiraagu’s Win a Tesla promotion was carried out from October 2023 until January of this year.
