From Wednesday onwards until Friday, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are expected in the northern and central atolls, with isolated showers in the southern atolls.
Wind speeds are expected to be southwest to westerly at 8 to 18 miles per hour, gusting to 35 to 40 miles per hour during showers.
Although seas may become rough during showers with wave heights of 3 to 7 feet, it will generally be moderate.
Schools and offices are scheduled to resume on Sunday after a week long holiday on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
