Telecom and internet service provider Ooredoo Maldives on Wednesday, June 15, announced expanding its SuperNet service network with a new service introduction.

In a statement, Ooredoo Maldives confirms introducing the service to Alif Dhaal atoll Dhigurah and adds that the SuperNet comes with a wide array of broadband packages with speeds up to 100 Mbps.

"Our fixed broadband, SuperNet plans are offering the best plans clubbed with massive data allowances, higher speeds and data rollover service. With great speeds and quality network coverage, we are delighted to connect the people of Dhigurah to more opportunities," said Mr. Hussain Niyaz, the Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Maldives.

Mr. Niyaz further affirmed Ooredoo's continued commitment towards enhancing socio-economic development in the island communities through the expansion of the broadband footprint.

Ooredoo Maldives recently revamped its SuperNet plans to make internet connectivity more affordable with its current plans up to five times the regular internet speed and 100 percent bigger allowances with faster throttled speeds.

In addition to this, Ooredoo Maldives is the first in the island nation to introduce data rollover services to all of its SuperNet broadband customers.

With the data rollover feature, unused data of the internet packages at the end of the month is carried forward to the following month's internet package.
