STELCO has donated MVR 500,000 to Palestinians. The donation was sent through the International Aid Campaign (IAC).
The company stated that the donation comes from their allocation for community social responsibility (CSR) efforts.
The funds were donated to the IAC's "We are with Palestine" fund.
In addition to STELCO, other state owned enterprises are also making donations to the cause.
IAC has collected donations amounting to approximately MVR 18 million to date.
While Israel's bombardment of Palestine has reached day 17, more than 4750 Palestinians have been killed in the attacks.
