Ooredoo launches the latest Galaxy Note 9 series in partnership with Samsung in Maldives on Friday.

A special event was organized for the launching ceremony of the highly anticipated phone. The ceremony was attended by Najib Khan, the Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Maldives, Shantha Fernando, the Head of Mobile Business and Samsung and Mr. Y.K.Hwang, the Director of Mobile at Samsung.

Speaking at this event, CEO Najib Khan said that "Together with our friends at Samsung, we are greatly excited to officially launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in the Maldives, with great offers which makes it easier for Ooredoo customers to get this powerful phone."

He also noted that Ooredoo would continue to work with "local and global partners to introduce new innovations to the Maldives".

Ooredoo had opened for pre-orders in early August along with attractive installment packages with up to 5GB free data per month for a year.

All pre-order customers will be provided with an AKG Bluetooth speaker and will receive their phones within the coming week.
