Aasandha coverage available after other insurances are exhausted from tomorrow

Under the new policy, individuals will be required to utilize their private insurance for healthcare costs before Aasandha coverage is activated.

National Social Protection Agency (NSPA) has said that under the reform to the Aasandha health insurance scheme, starting tomorrow, the scheme will only cover free healthcare after other enrolled insurance schemes have reached their limits.

In a statement, NSPA emphasized its commitment to ensuring that the national social health insurance system provides high quality basic health services to Maldivians in a sustainable manner.
