BML introduces Self-Service Banking in Makunudhoo

Bank of Maldives (BML), on Friday, opened a new self-service banking ATM centre in Makunudhoo, Haa Dhaalu Atoll, as part of its strategy to expand banking services to support local communities.

The centre will provide cash withdrawal facilities as well as deposit and transfer services to individuals and businesses on a 24-hour basis.

Following the establishment of the new ATM centre in Makunudhoo, Haa Dhaalu Atoll currently has self-service banking centres in three islands.

“We are delighted to support individuals, businesses and the community of Makunudhoo with this investment to make financial services widely accessible. Over the past year, as part of our Financial Inclusion strategy, we have opened new Self-Service Banking Centres in 11 islands and upgraded ATMs with self-service banking facilities in an additional five islands,” stated BML's CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer.

The main bank of Maldives operates a nationwide network of 35 branches across all 20 atolls, 68 Self Service Banking Centres, 129 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services. BML reiterated its commitment to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across the country.
