Power cuts in Hulhumale' Phase 2 today for service upgrade

State Electric Company (STELCO) has announced that there will be power interruptions in Hulhumale' Phase 2 from 10am onwards today as the company is working on service upgrades.

Power cuts in Hiyaa Flat Towers 1 to 8 will be between 10am and 11am, they said. At the same time, there will be a power interruption at Kaamil Didi School as well.

Vinares Flat Towers 1 to 10 will also experience power cuts today, between 1pm and 2pm. At this time, MPL Towers and Salahudheen School will also get powercuts.

STELCO assured that electricity service would be restored as soon as work is completed.

STELCO said that there are power cuts in Hulhumale' these days due to emergency maintenance work that needs to be done in the electricity distribution grid.

This maintenance work will contribute towards ensuring uninterrupted services, the company said.
