Vice President of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Abdul Salaam, and Member Thoha Mohamed have resigned following a parliamentary committee's decision to dismiss them.

The Parliament’s Committee on Independent Institutions passed a motion recommending the dismissal of several members of the ACC and the Elections Commission (EC) over alleged integrity and disciplinary concerns, including Salaam and Thoha.
