Not right to exploit someone's offence for humiliation: President

President Muizzu said that exploiting an individual's wrongdoing by recording it to shame those involved is morally and socially unacceptable.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu said today that exploiting a person's offence by videoing it to humiliate people should not be tolerated.

The President's remarks come in the wake of an incident where Henveiru South MP-elect Hussain Imran Latheef recorded an incident involving a pickup colliding with former Home Minister Imran Abdullah's car. The member-elect had also made comments during the incident.
