Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) officially launches the "Redefining MICE" campaign in the Middle East region.
The premier tourism promoter of the Maldives held a special conference on 10th May on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2022 along with the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in the United Arab Emirates, prior to the launching of the campaign.
The press conference was hosted by the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of MMPRC, Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed, Chief Marketing Officer of MMPRC, Ms. Fathimath Afra together with Ms. Aminath Shabeena, the Ambassador of the Maldives to the United Arab Emirates.
At the conference, Mr. Mohamed highlighted on the importance of the Middle Eastern tourist market to the Maldives tourism in the wake of Covid-19 recovery efforts.
MMPRC's "Redefining MICE" aims to attract affluent travelers to the island nation for the components that fall under the said tourism nice; MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions).
