Media spokesperson to the Police said today that two persons were arrested into police custody on grounds of entering a house in Maafannu ward of Male' City in the morning and attempting to incite a fight following a disagreement on a TikTok live. The two arrestees were later released, said Police.
No further details have been disclosed thus far.
Two local women with a notable reputation on TikTok had also stirred up an argument on TikTok live two to three days ago.
During this disagreement that occurred in Vilimale', one woman had turned up at the other's house with a group and initiated a heated argument. The two were also observed making heavy allegations against the other during the live.
