Wellness tourism in Maldives valued at USD 1 billion

Maldives has seen significant advancements in the field of wellness tourism.

As per 'The Global Wellness Economy: Maldives' report published by the Global Wellness Institute in partnership with JOALI BEING, Maldives' wellness tourism sector is valued at USD 1 billion (MVR 15 billion). Taking into considerations spas and other wellness related services, the total value rises to USD 1.6 billion (MVR 25 billion).
