Police investigate sudden death of a youth at Fuvahmulah construction site

A youth in Fuvahmulah who was working at a construction site collapsed today, and was declared dead on arrival when taken to the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Abdulla Rishdhan, 27 of Abadhah Hiyaa, R. Alifushi who resides in Fuvahmulah.

Police said that they received reports this afternoon of a man who had been dead on arrival when brought to the Fuvahmulah Hospital today.

Police said that their investigation so far indicates the man was rushed to hospital after he collapsed while working at a construction site.

Police said that there are visible injuries to his face. They are conducting further investigations into the incident.
