Russia leads tourist arrivals to Maldives in the first five days of 2025

Russia has become the leading source market for tourist arrivals in the Maldives during the first five days of the year, according to statistics from the Ministry of Tourism.

Data reveals that 6,400 Russian tourists arrived during this period, accounting for 20 percent of total arrivals. Italy followed as the second-largest market, contributing 5,200 visitors.
