The Non-Resident Ambassador of Singapore Chua Thian Poh held discussions on Sunday, with Vice President Faisal Naseem regarding the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
Ambassador Poh made a courtesy call on Vice President Naseem at the President’s Office where he was welcomed by the latter.
Vice President Naseem expressed his belief that Maldives and Singapore enjoyed a close diplomatic relationship.
During the meeting, the ambassador and Vice President Faisal discussed areas of mutual interest such as human resource development, rehabilitation, health and higher education.
The Non-Resident Ambassador of Singapore expressed hopes of cooperating with Maldives and further consolidating existing bilateral relations between the two countries.
