Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid on Tuesday, met with Acting Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Distribution, Saeed Mubarak Al-Rashdi in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, as part of the official diplomatic visit to United Arab Emirates (UAE), Minister Shahid and Al-Rashdi discussed mediums of increasing trade relations and avenues of investment in Maldives.
Managing Director of State Trading Organisation (STO) Husen Amru Mohamed Rashad, and Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdul Waris Saeed also attended the meeting.
Minister Shahid accompanied President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on his first official visit following an invitation extended by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces of the UAE, Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
