Dhiraagu has partnered with the Maldivian Red Crescent's Partners for Humanity Initiative to support humanitarian efforts.
Under the initiative, Dhiraagu will be supporting the organization in its efforts to provide essential services to vulnerable populations in the Maldives, especially during times of crisis. These services include first aid, psychological and social support, and disaster relief initiatives. Dhiraagu's support aims to enhance the capabilities of the Maldivian Red Crescent in delivering these critical services.
As a proactive participant in this venture, Dhiraagu will conduct training for the involved volunteers engaged in MRC's activities. Additionally, the company will actively contribute to enhancing the capabilities of Maldivian Red Crescent units spanning diverse sectors across the country.
Dhiraagu's Director of Brand and Marketing Communications, Mohamed Mirshan Hassan, expressed the company's enthusiasm to support and strengthen the Maldivian Red Crescent's initiatives.
In recent years, Dhiraagu has been actively involved in providing telecommunication-related services, including the establishment of a toll-free helpline by the Maldivian Red Crescent, aimed at offering mental and social well-being support to migrant workers.
Dhiraagu has been a corporate member of the Maldivian Red Crescent since 2018.
