Parliament's Public Accounts Committee meeting was held closed today at the request of Aasandha Company, regarding the government's failure to pay MVR 144 million to ADK Hospital.
In a letter to the committee, the Maldives' largest private hospital stated that despite submitting bills for services provided to government institutions and under the Aasandha universal healthcare scheme and National Social Protection Agency (NSPA), it has not received payments for several months.
