A Hulhumale' Hospital media official told Mihaaru that one of the people injured in the accident is being treated at the hospital.
An individual injured in a road accident yesterday in a collision between a car and a motorcycle is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
A police media official confirmed that they have received reports of an accident that occurred in Hulhumale' Phase 2 yesterday, and that police had attended the scene of the accident.
A Hulhumale' Hospital media official told Mihaaru that one of the people injured in the accident is being treated at the hospital.
"His condition is not serious at the moment. He is receiving medical attention at the emergency treatment room. We will only be able to gauge the actual scale of injuries after taking X-rays and doing other investigations," the official said.
A video circulating on social media shows that the front of the car is severely damaged after purportedly having been hit by the speeding motorcycle. The video further shows a crowd of people gathered at the scene as one believed to have been injured in the accident lies on the grass at the side of the road.
The police are conducting further investigations into this accident.
