FHAM 2022 International Exhibition to commence in Hulhumale’ Central Park

Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives (FHAM) 2022 International Exhibition will take place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of August in Central Park, Hulhumale'. The exhibition is expected to host over 100 exhibitors representing products and brands from across the globe, offering their services to the resorts, hotels, guesthouses and restaurants industry in the Maldives.

The exhibition and its many concurrent events will take place under four huge air conditioned marquees. Dhivehi Expo Services, the main organizer of this event have partnered with one of the largest trade fair organizers in South Asia- CDC Events Pvt. Ltd.

Buyers from more than 100 resorts, guesthouses, restaurants, and hotels are expected to visit the three day event. The many competition held during the exhibition will also attract competitors from resorts all around Maldives.

The International Culinary Challenge which is endorsed by the World Association of Chefs and Co- Organized by the Chef’s Guild of Maldives and the Chef’s Guild of Lanka has over 500 chefs competing for culinary honors. The Culinary Challenge sponsored by Nestle Professionals will be judged by a star studded international panel of World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) judges led by Michelle Uwe, the President of the Emirates Culinary Guild.

The Mocktail Competition sponsored by Fabri and the only International Barista Competition in the Maldives sponsored by Lavazza will also take place during the event.

The housekeepers association of Maldives will be putting together the housekeeper’s challenge which will also attract many resorts to the event. The principal sponsor of the FHAM Exhibition and Culinary Challenge; Lily International, and co-sponsor SIMDI, in addition to many other companies have come on board as category sponsors for the event.

According to the organizers, the Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives will give new insights to the hospitality industry of Maldives, especially as it is the first event of this nature to take place post Covid in the Maldives.
