Telecommunications giant Dhiraagu on Wednesday introduced ‘Ecosys’, which offers critical services to the Maldivian hospitality industry under a single platform.

Developed by Dhiraagu with insights and research jointly conducted with tourism industry experts in Maldives, Ecosys is an innovative and future proof platform intended to provide resorts with protection and real-time monitoring to ease management operations.

The five major services included under the platform are fire detection, audio services, drone deployment service, intruder detection and location based services.

Dhiraagu Ecosys fire service is a fire alarm monitoring system which is securely integrated into the resort's existing network and geographical location to ensure uninterrupted operations. The fire service dashboard is designed to facilitate convenient identification of incident locations to minimize response times.

The location based service involves exclusive monitoring of land and sea areas using multiple devices such as GPS tracking devices, motion sensors and CCTV cameras. The service enables the analysis of live feeds and playback recordings.

With a dynamic and flexible sound system, the Ecosys hospitality platform can be utilised as a Public Announcement (PA) system as well as a Background Music (BGM) system. Guests can also use the feature to play their own music with in-room devices.

The Ecosys Drone Service is intended to boost the efficiency of land and sea monitoring by capturing emergency situations. Drone services allow both automatic and manual flight control.

Intruder detection services intelligently monitors pre-defined areas for moving vehicles and vessels using geo fencing technology. Immediate notifications are sent out if a threat is detected.

Dhiraagu expressed its commitment to extending the company portfolio for business customers beyond connectivity services to become a digital transformation partner for the Maldivian hospitality industry.
