Dhiraagu introduces AI-powered voice assistant 'WooHoo' to Maldives' hospitality field

Dhiraagu on Sunday introduced 'WooHoo', a contactless Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered voice assistant for the hospitality industry of Maldives.

The local telecom giant launched WooHoo in collaboration with Silicon Valley-based 'SmartBeings Inc.', the developer of the AI voice assistant, and Leia Inc., the leading provider of Lightfield hardware and content services for mobile devices.

SmartBeings Inc's WooHoo is an award-winning Enterprise Voice AI Assistant speaker, which is powered by JBL by Harman, allowing to order and personalise guest needs using voice commands.

Meanwhile, Leia Inc brings its Lume Pad, which is the world's first 3D Lightfield Tablet, to the deal, providing 3D imagery with a natural sensation of depth and feel for textures, materials, and lights without the need for eyewear. Leia's Lume Pad-Hospitality Edition is fully integrated with WooHoo’s platform to help upsell in-room services in hospitality establishments.

With more than 40 hospitality solutions integrated into WooHoo, such as property management systems, in-room automation, housekeeping, point of sales systems, PBX etc., WooHoo technologies are further paired with Dhiraagu's smart hospitality solutions - thus allowing hotel guests to order food & beverages, toiletries, play music, get instant answers to their queries, call reception, and control room temperature, lighting or curtains, among other interactions through voice command.
