President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Sunday, declared April 11 and 12 and as government holidays.
As per the announcement released President's Office, Sunday, April 11 was declared a government holiday after reflecting on the large number of civil servants who will be involved at polling stations nationwide to manage the Local Council Election (LCE).
The elections are scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 10.
Meanwhile Monday, April 12 was declared as a holiday if the first of Ramadhan 1442.
