Addiction counselors to be trained: NDA

Chairperson of the National Drug Agency (NDA), Lubna Zahir, has revealed plans to train addiction counselors to support individuals affected by drug addiction across the Maldives.

Following discussions with the Health Ministry and Allied Insurance, Lubna emphasized the aim to establish trained counselors in every inhabited island. These counselors will assist in addressing the widespread drug addiction issues within the community.
